Terms and Conditions

By using Shippers Dome’s services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are put in place to ensure a smooth, transparent, and reliable shipping experience for all customers.


1. General Use of Services

Shippers Dome provides shipping, customs clearance, freight forwarding, delivery, and related services. By signing up or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.


2. Shipping & Delivery

  • Air freight deliveries are typically completed within 24–48 hours, excluding weekends.
  • Sea freight deliveries typically take 1–2 weeks, depending on item size and shipping schedules.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, weather conditions, or other unforeseen delays.

3. Customs Clearance

  • All shipments are subject to customs inspection and clearance.
  • Customs duties and fees are determined by customs authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Any package valued over USD $100 may incur customs duties.
  • For “free” items, customers must provide an invoice reflecting the actual value of those items if requested by customs.

4. Invoices & Documentation

  • Valid invoices are required to facilitate customs clearance.
  • Invoices may be submitted via email or WhatsApp.
  • Failure to provide accurate documentation may result in delays or additional charges.

5. Payments

  • Payment is required on or before delivery.
  • Accepted payment methods include:
    • Online transfer
    • Cash on Delivery
    • POS (card machine available)
  • No payment leniency will be granted.
  • Confirming a delivery means confirming your intent and ability to pay.

6. Delivery Attempts & Pick-Up

  • If delivery is confirmed and attempted but not completed, the customer is responsible for:
    • Paying for re-delivery, or
    • Picking up the package from a designated location (Kingston or Spanish Town).
  • Additional delivery attempts may incur extra charges based on distance.

7. Storage & Unclaimed Packages

  • Packages not collected or accepted within 15 days will incur a daily storage fee.
  • Packages unclaimed after 30 days may be sold, discarded, or used to recover outstanding costs.
  • These policies are non-negotiable.

8. First-In, First-Out Policy

  • Packages are processed on a first-in, first-out basis.
  • Earlier invoices must be cleared before subsequent packages are released.

9. Delivery Options

  • Delivery and curb-side pick-up options are available.
  • Free delivery is offered based on location.
  • If a delivery fee applies, it will be communicated prior to delivery.
  • Sea freight items may incur additional delivery costs depending on size and handling requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

Shippers Dome is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, shipping carriers, acts of nature, or inaccurate information provided by the customer.


11. Changes to Terms

Shippers Dome reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
